LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Nearly 40 kids put their spelling skills to the test Wednesday night at Liberty High School, but one Hubbard Middle School student took home the top prize.
Harrison Cover spelled "galvanize" correctly and became the winner of the Trumbull County Spelling Bee.
No matter how they finished last night, all of the students got a chance to prepare for upcoming spelling contests.
The event was sponsored by the Trumbull County Educational Service Center and co-sponsored by the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce.
