Regionals this week in girls high school basketball

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - In our McDonald's Hoop News, it's regional time for girls high school basketball.

The Mahoning Valley has four teams just a couple of wins away from advancing to the state semi-finals.

Canfield is making their second consecutive trip to Barberton. They'll play Parma Heights Holy Name on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m.

In Division III, United is making back to back appearances in the regionals. They'll play Orrville on Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. at Cuyahoga Falls High School.

Lowellville will play in their fifth straight regional game on Thursday at 6:15 p.m. in a local match-up with Maplewood. This will be the Rockets first trip to the round of 16.
