Model calls for fashion show to benefit Akron Children's Mahoning Valley

Posted: Updated:

BOARDMAN, Ohio - Girls who like to collect American Girl® dolls have the opportunity to model fashions for a good cause.

There are four fashion shows that will benefit Akron Children's Mahoning Valley that will take place on April 20th and 21st at Stambaugh Auditorium.

Sunday was the first day of model tryouts.

"There will be fittings on March 23rd. There will be a rehearsal and a walk through the day before the show as well, but the girls don't need to be available for all four shows. In the packet they let us know which one they want to participate in," said JoAnn Stock, Akron Children's Mahoning Valley.

Model calls will be held Wednesday, March 6th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and then on Saturday, March 9th from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Girls must be a size 10 or 6x and present a $25 model registration fee.
