MERCER COUNTY, Pennsylvania - A Mercer County man is in jail, booked on charges of rape.
Police say 23-year-old Anthony Nicholas Johnson of Transfer, Pennsylvania was arrested last Friday and booked on charges stemming from an incident last June where he allegedly raped an unidentified 25-year-old woman in a wooded area in Delaware Township.
Johnson could not post bond and will remain in jail until his preliminary hearing on March 11th.
