The 35th Annual Mahoning Valley St. Patrick's Day Parade steps off this Sunday, March 10th at 1:00 p.m. on Market Street in Boardman.
The parade will begin at the Boardman Township Administration building near McClurg Road and proceed north on Market Street to the Southwoods Medical Complex.
This year's parade theme is "Shamrocks of Steel." This theme celebrates the strong family traditions of the Valley as well as its Irish heritage.
The 2013 Mahoning Valley St. Patrick's Day Parade will features over 160 units, including floats, marching bands, military units, dance teams, clowns, police and fire vehicles, antique cars and much more. The Grand Marshal for this year's parade is James E. Rooney.
