PHILADELPHIA (AP) - State gambling regulators say gross revenue from slot machines at Pennsylvania's 11 casinos was down 9.2% last month compared to the same period a year ago.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is reporting $195.9 million in gross revenue from slots in February, down from $215.7 million during the same period the year before. Last year was a leap year, but the monthly decrease is another sign slots growth is leveling off.

The state's first casino opened in 2006 and the industry has seen rapid growth in Pennsylvania, which has grown into the nation's second-largest gambling market behind Las Vegas.

The latest numbers include $5 million in gross slots revenue from Valley Forge Casino Resort, which opened last March. The 10 casinos open during February 2012 and February 2013 showed an 11.5% decline.
