YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The All-American Conference wants to expand and a couple more districts have expressed interest, including one from out of the area.
According to Commissioner Rick King, Steubenville and Youngstown Christian have applied. The Big Red for football only and the Eagles for all sports.
That makes a total of eight schools expressing interest in joining the league.
King said the expansion committee will look at all schools and expects anywhere from three to six to be added.
Its expected superintendents will vote on expansion at their May meeting.
