Chicken and Wild Rice Casserole

There's not much better than having a meal already prepared in the freezer for dinner. Foil pans work great for this recipe.

1 (4.3 oz.) box wild rice with seasoning packet

1 (10.5 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup

1 (10.5 oz.) can cream of chicken soup

1 can water

1 small can mushrooms, drained

6 boneless skinless chicken thighs

1 cup slivered almonds

Mix together rice, seasoning packet, both cans of soup and water. Stir in mushrooms. Pour mixture into an 8 x 8-inch foil pan. Top with chicken pieces and sprinkle with slivered almonds. Double wrap in heavy duty foil and freeze.

Cooking Instructions: Thaw and bake, uncovered, at 350º for 1 hour until chicken juices run clear and rice is tender.
