Mahoning coroner's office identifies skull found on Youngstown's east side

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Mahoning County Coroner's Office has determined the identity of a skull found in a yard on Vaughn Avenue in Youngstown last month.

Dental records and other tests confirm the remains belong to David Jackson, who had been missing since late last year.

A dog discovered part of the skull in the yard on Vaughn Avenue on February 16. Earlier this week, a human jaw was also discovered in the yard.

Youngstown police and the Mahoning county coroner's office are investigating the circumstances of Jackson's death.
