YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown State University women's basketball team is hoping that the half dozen days before their Horizon League Tournament begins will be enough time for standout forward Brandi Brown to recover from a right ankle injury.

It happened in the first half of Thursday night's game in Detroit.

Brown went down and needed help off the floor.

The team didn't get back to Youngstown until 2:00 a.m. Friay morning.

Brown will have further tests done once the swelling goes down.

They're hopeful that she will be ready when they play the seventh seed Wednesday night at home.
