Niles elementary student left on bus

NILES, Ohio - A bus driver is on leave after an elementary school student was left on a bus.

The student apparently fell asleep on the bus and was found on board early yesterday inside the bus garage. The child was not harmed.

The driver is on paid leave until the investigation is completed.

After threatening to drop out of TAG in April, Ashtabula County Commissioners had a change of heart, and voted 2-to-1 on Thursday to stay. Ashtabula commissioners protested after Trumbull County Sheriff Paul Monroe replaced Jeff Orr with Tony Villanueva as TAG Commander.

    A man has been sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for a deadly shooting at the Southern Tavern on Glenwood Avenue which happened in 2015. Thirty-seven year old Daniel Harris plead guilty to all of the charges against him in connection with the death of thirty-four year old Tony Brown.
