YSU hosting Oakland Tuesday in 1st round of CollegeInsider.com Tournament

Posted: Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown State men's basketball team knows who they'll be playing Tuesday night in the first round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

Their opponent will be Oakland, who use to play the Penguins on a regular basis when they were in the Mid-Continent Conference.

This is the first time these schools have played in a decade.

The Golden Grizzlies advanced to the CIT final four last season.

They have the nation's top three point shooter, Travis Bader, who has made a trey in 52 straight games.

This is the Penguins first postseason appearance since moving to Division I. Game time is 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday at Beeghly Center.
