Williamsport, PA-based Timothy Hughes Rare & Early Newspapers launches a completely revamped website that makes finding and buying original newspapers easier than ever.

Williamsport, PA (PRWEB) March 19, 2013

Timothy Hughes Rare & Early Newspapers announces the launch of their newly designed website with enhanced visual appeal, a modern style and layout, and easier to use search tools. Created with user experience at the forefront, the redesigned website strikes a balance between appealing to experienced newspaper collectors, while educating the general public about the hobby—many of whom are unaware that centuries-old newspapers in good condition can be bought online at affordable prices.

“The main goal of the redesign was to help collectors, educators, students, and historians find original newspapers of interest as seamlessly and intuitively as possible,” said Guy Heilenman, President of Timothy Hughes Rare & Early Newspapers. Heilenman added, “We want those searching on the Internet for historically significant newspapers and original source material to be able to easily find us and, when found, to be able to quickly access items of interest.”

Customers now benefit from a richer, more visual experience with Timothy Hughes Rare & Early Newspapers’ content. The website is more pleasing to the eye, and individual newspaper products are easier to find. Those familiar with the previous website will most likely notice the facelift that a few of the main categories received, such as the Civil War and Harper’s Weekly pages. These revamped entry pages offer website guests an overview of the particular era, and explain how newspapers influenced and shaped opinions. More photos and additional product listing functionality were also added to the main category pages.

Visitors to the site are also able to share their favorite newspaper finds with others on Facebook and Pinterest, or add a newspaper item to an existing Amazon Wish List with one click.
Heilenman concluded, “While our desire is to help preserve the past, we live in the present. The new website design captures both.”

To celebrate the occasion, Timothy Hughes Rare & Early Newspapers is offering a discount code (RNWEB313DC) good for 10% off any and all website orders placed from 3/18/2013 through 3/24/2013. The discount is valid for new orders only, excludes S&H, and does not include eBay or custom quoted items. Apply the code in the field marked “RN Code” during checkout to receive the discount.

Customers are encouraged to provide feedback about the new website on the Timothy Hughes Rare & Early Newspapers Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/rarenewspapers.
