YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A man charged with the kidnapping and abduction of his 3-year-old son pleaded guilty in lieu of a jury trial that was to begin Tuesday morning.

In December, Robert Partridge, 35, of Austintown, was supposed to give his son to the boy's mother but disappeared with the child.

The boy was later reunited with his mother several days later and Partridge turned himself in.

He will be sentenced at a later date.
