NEW YORK, March 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Harwood Feffer LLP (www.hfesq.com) is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of EDAC Technologies Corp. ("EDAC" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: EDAC) concerning the proposed acquisition of the Company by GB Aero Engine LLC ("GB Aero") in a transaction valued at approximately $104 million.

On March 18, 2013, EDAC announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which the Company will be acquired by GB Aero.  Under the terms of the agreement, EDAC stockholders will receive $17.75 in cash for each share of EDAC stock held.
