YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Monica Durkin, 47, of Youngstown has been charged with two counts of reckless operation and driving under the influence after a police chase and arrest Thursday on the Youngstown's north side.

Just before 8:30 p.m., police say a Durkin, driving an SUV, was heading north on Wick Avenue, when she clipped two cars near the intersection of the Madison Avenue Expressway.

She then kept driving and struck a utility pole. Her vehicle flipped onto its side, and struck two cars sitting on the lot of Jordan Auto Sales.

The woman had to be cut from her vehicle.

"I was sitting in my office and all of a sudden I hear something loud like an explosion. I got scared a little bit so I kept myself inside the office and then one of my help came out. I see this Range Rover hit two cars, flipped over and got damage to the property," says Mahar Musa, owner of Jordan Auto Sales.
