MERCER COUNTY, Pennsylvania- In light of a number of safety concerns on the road, Pennsylvania State officials are going digital.
Parts of Interstate 80 in Mercer County and Erie County will soon have a wireless messaging system in place, with 17 cameras and electronic billboards to alert drivers of road conditions.
PennDOT officials confirm that the billboards will send out warnings for drivers. The cameras will help monitor changes in coniditions.
