SALEM, Ohio- The second of a two-day event celebrating the completion of the Salem Community Hospital's new patient bed tower is set today.
The tower will provide an additional 87 patient rooms on three floors, according to a release.
It will also include "enhanced patient privacy and bedside technology," as well as a two-story parking garage.
The project had cost an estimated $42.5 million to complete.
An event signing was already held Thursday for the final beam of the tower. A topping off ceremony will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the site.
