YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- CityScape hosted their 16th Annual Streetscape "Grow the YO!" kick-off breakfast this morning at the Mill Creek MetroParks.
The event started at 8 a.m. at the Fellows Riverside Gardens in the Mill Creek MetroParks D.D. and Velma Davis Center, located at 123 McKinley Avenue in Youngstown.
The event marks the beginning of fundraising efforts.
The annual Streetscape planting day is Saturday, June 1, 2013.
On that day, volunteers will help beautify the downtown landscape by removing debris, trimming, planting flowers and shrubs and mulching planted areas during the event.
