WARREN, Ohio - A rodeo operator pleads guilty to a misdemeanor after a fireworks display at the Trumbull County Fair left a Trumbull County Sheriff's Deputy injured last summer.

James McElroy, owner of Broken Horn Rodeo, plead guilty to restrictions on possession, sale and use of fireworks and was sentenced to two years probation and a $1,000 fine.

Deputy Allen Smith was injured in July 2012 when the horse he was riding was spooked by a fireworks display put on by Broken Horn Rodeo.
