CINCINNATI (AP) - Two Ohio cities have been named as being among 15 cities in the U.S. with emerging downtowns.

Cincinnati and Cleveland made Forbes magazine's list released Tuesday.

Forbes says it listed cities that have seen double-digit population growth and revitalized central business districts.

Cincinnati's major projects include a $600 million retail and residential development on its riverfront known as The Banks, a $110 million streetcar set to open in 2016, a $120 million riverfront park and a $400 million casino.

Cleveland's projects include a casino, new aquarium, a new convention center this summer and a $200 million mixed-use development.

Other cities that made the list include Detroit, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Atlanta, Denver and Louisville, Ky.
