YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Canfield man serving a four year prison sentence for embezzling has filed for early release again, despite being denied a previous request last year.
Adair, along with his wife, was convicted in 2011 of embezzlement for taking $1.3 million from Southwind Trucking, putting the Austintown company out of business in 2009. Fifty people lost their jobs as a result.
Mahoning county judge Lou D'Appolito denied Scott Adair's request for early release last July after serving one year.
Court records confirmed Adair has filed for a judicial release, however, a hearing has not been set yet.
