BOARDMAN, Ohio - A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. to recognize the grand opening of the new Davis-Becker Funeral Home on Market Street.

The funeral home was designed specifically to be modern and comfortable for the public.

The new facility features four viewing rooms, a nondenominational chapel and updated technology.

There is also a family center for after-funeral dining that is located adjacent to the funeral home.

Davis-Becker personnel, along with members of the chamber of commerce, Mahoning County Commissioners, township trustees and area clergy and healthcare officials will present the new building during the ceremony.

An open house will also be held on Saturday from 2-5 p.m.
