BROOKFIELD, Ohio - As they prepare for prom season, students at Brookfield High School are learning more about the dangers of distracted driving.

At a special assembly today, the high schoolers heard a presentation by John Gordon who's son Rusty was killed by a driver who was texting behind the wheel.

The presentation included a video titled "The Last Text" which showed stories of young people who died in crashes because they were reading or sending a text message.

"When you are texting or manipulating the phone you're at a 2003% increased risk of having a crash," Gordon said.
