Trumbull Children Services Board and three of its employees being sued

Posted: Updated:

WARREN, Ohio - The Trumbull County Children Services Board and three employees are being sued for allegedly failing to prevent the rape of an adopted child during supervised visits.

The three million dollar suit was filed in federal court by the baby's adoptive parents who are not named in the suit.

Their attorney says he cannot confirm or deny that the child mentioned in the suit is the baby of Cody and Felicia Beemer who were convicted of raping their infant during supervised visits at Trumbull County Children's Services.

However, the circumstances are very similar.

The suit claims that children services allowed visitation with the child even though they knew that the baby's natural father was a sex offender and that the baby's mother had mental health issues.
