Great Groceries: Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese

Slow-Cooker Macaroni and Cheese

All the taste of a creamy macaroni and cheese without all the work.

2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni

4 Tbsp. butter, melted

2 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup sour cream

1 (10.75 oz.) can condensed cheese soup

1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup whole milk

1/2 tsp. dry mustard

1/4 tsp. white pepper

Boil macaroni in water for six minutes and drain.

In the slow cooker, combine butter, cheese, eggs, sour cream, soup, salt, milk, mustard and pepper. Add the drained macaroni and stir again. Cook on low for 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
