Thrift shop giving away free merchandise

Posted: Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A local thrift shop is moving to a new location, and all of their old merchandise is free to the public.

Schulte's Thrift is relocating to 1648 Mahoning Avenue and will be giving away inventory for free on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"Our new location is bursting with quality items such as clothing, furniture, appliances, household and tools. We just don't have the inventory space for items from our current address," says shop owner, Frederick J. Schulte, in a press release.

The sale will be at the old shop, 1707 Mahoning Ave. and there is no limit to the amount of items shoppers are permitted to take.
