Spring car show visits Southern Park Mall

Posted: Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Some of this year's most popular cars will be on display in the Southern Park Mall parking lot until April 29.

Local dealerships including Boardman Nissan, Bob & Chuck Eddy Chrysler Dodge, Donnell Ford Lincoln and Bob & Chuck Eddy Fiat will show off new cars in the mall.

"Our spring car event is a great way to view the newest models of cars and the interesting options that come with them. Whether or not you are in the market for a new car, this is a great opportunity to see lots of makes and models in one location," Sheryl Raulin, director of marketing and business development at the Southern Park Mall, said in a press release.

R.L. Polk & Co.'s automotive forecast website says that new automobile sales will surpass last years sales by 6.6 percent.

More than 40 new model introductions are expected this year, and nearly 15.4 million units are predicted to be produced, the website says.
