Haslam returns to Browns facility, preps for draft

Posted: Updated:

BEREA, Ohio (AP) - Cleveland Browns CEO Joe Banner and general manager Michael Lombardi have been joined by owner Jimmy Haslam III as they prepare to conduct their first draft with the franchise.

Haslam, the CEO of Pilot Flying J, arrived Thursday, three days after FBI and Internal Revenue Service agents executed four search warrants at his company's Knoxville, Tenn., headquarters.

Haslam's visit coincided with the final day of the Browns' initial voluntary minicamp under new coach Rob Chudzinski.

Cleveland has the sixth pick in the first round of the draft, which takes place April 25.

The Browns went 5-11 last season.
