North Jackson woman accused of stealing jewelry from employer

MAHONING COUNTY - A North Jackson woman is accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars in jewelry from her employer.

A grand jury indicted 35-year-old Amy Lynn Smith on a charge of grand theft.

Prosecutors say Smith took between $40,000 and $50,000 worth of jewelry when she worked for the Things Remembered distribution center in North Jackson.
