Allied Waste files federal lawsuit against Teamsters of Youngstown

Posted: Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Allied Waste of Toledo files a federal lawsuit against the Teamsters of Youngstown claiming the union is violating federal labor law.

Teamsters Local 377 has been striking Allied Waste of Youngstown since March 28 in a contract dispute.

The suit says members of the union local from Youngstown began picketing allied waste of Toledo on Monday in support of the strike here in the Valley.

Allied Waste claims the picketing in Toledo violates federal labor laws and asks a judge to award Allied Waste unspecified damages.
