YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A new campaign designed to enforce a curfew in Youngstown is being supported by the city and community advocates.
According to a release, Mayor Charles Sammarone will announce the campaign, titled "Do You Know Where Your Children Are," on Friday. The initiative is designed to enforce curfew laws, announcements and parental education.
Under the city's curfew, children under 18 are not allowed outside of their homes without parental supervision between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
The campaign is sponsored by the mayor and the Community Initiative to Reduce Violence.
