WARREN, Ohio - A Warren man will spend nine months in prison for a hit skip accident that injured another man on New Year's day in the city.

Marcel Tipton, 27, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to failure to stop after an accident with injury.

Tipton was driving on Summit and Tod Avenues at around 3 a.m. January first when he hit a bicyclist.

The man on the bike was knocked out of his shoes and was hospitalized for his injuries.
