New health club opens its doors in Howland

Posted: Updated:

HOWLAND, Ohio - A new business in Howland hopes to serve up the perfect blend of taste and healthy benefits.

Rock 'N' Out Nutrition marked its opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday.

The Niles-Cortland Road business is an official Herbalife nutrition club designed to help customers find the ways to lose weight and get fit.

The club will provide vitamins and smoothies as well as information on fitness development programs.

Customers can create made-to-order smoothies packed with protein and vitamins while also learning about health benefits.

"This is a great place for people to come and be able to have a delicious smoothie that's going to keep them full for a couple of hours, but it's also going to give them protein to burn fat," Mark Owens said, part owner of the business.

The smoothie is followed by a tea that's promised to provide the customer with energy and help them burn about 160 calories.

Customers can fill out wellness evaluations for one on one consultations to determine what the health club can do for their health.
