YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police are investigating a shooting that left a 14-year-old boy wounded on the city's south side.
The incident happened just before 9 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the teen was shot in the left hand in the area of East Boston Street.
Family members then took the injured boy to a nearby home on East Florida Avenue. Police also questioned individuals in the parking lot of a nearby deli.
The incident remains under investigation. The teen's condition has not been released.
