Two injured in Austintown rollover crash

Posted: Updated:

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Two were injured after a rollover accident in Austintown Thursday morning between Kirk Road and Penny Lane.

The accident happened just after 8 a.m. when a car and SUV collided.

A 17-year-old was involved and is being transported to Akron Children's Hospital.

The woman trapped in the SUV is also being transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Firefighters had to cut off her door to remove her from the vehicle.

"It appears she pulled out in front of the vehicle when it was traveling west bound and hit her in the side rolling the chevy blazer over," said Alan Phillips with the Austintown police department.

Traffic was delayed for some time.
