Canfield, Girard Robotics learn results of competition

Canfield and Girard High School Robotics Teams took part in the World Championships on Thursday and the results are in.

Girard, in the Archimedes Division, finished 70th out of 100 in their division. They won three competitions and lost five.

Canfield, in the Galileo Division, came in 31st out of 100 schools in their division. They won five competitions and lost three.

The schools competed in St. Louis against groups from Florida, Israel, Brazil and other countries.

The Robocats from Girard created a robot that can throw frisbees.
