Covelli Enterprises offers donation to Rich Center

Posted: Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Covelli Enterprises and Panera Bread presented a check to the Rich Center for Autism.

Sales of all cookies in the Pieces of Hope Cookie Campaign were donated. An additional $2,000 was collected by customers in cashbox donations.

"Covelli Enterprises and Panera Bread choose to be a good partner in this community by supporting various organizations like The Rich Center," says Liz Follet, regional marketing director of Panera Bread. "It's such a gem in our community. The fact they don't charge tuition to their students and families is amazing."

Leah Wilson of The Rich Center for Autism says, "The most valuable thing the check provides is to help defray the cost of therapies and education of the children of The Rich Center for Austism."

The National Honor Society at Howland High School also came up with a fundraising walk called Pound the Pavement Against Autism.

All money from that walk will also help kids at The Rich Center.
