Ohio State to play 3 prime-time conference games

Posted: Updated:

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Ohio State says it will open its conference play against Wisconsin in 1 of the Buckeyes' three Big Ten matchups scheduled as prime-time telecasts this season.

The television schedule released Monday includes Ohio State home games at night against the Badgers on Sept. 28 and against Penn State on Oct. 26.

Those games at Ohio Stadium will air on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2, as will the Oct. 5 visit to Northwestern. The Buckeyes are playing the Wildcats for the first time in five years.

It's the sixth season in a row that Ohio Stadium will have a night game.
