All American Conference is expanding

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The All American Conference is expanding.

At their monthly meeting, superintendent's voted to extend invitations to six schools to join the league and form four conferences for football and three for the rest of the sports.

Commissioner Rick King tells 21 Sports that Boardman, East, Warren Harding, Brookfield, Ashtabula Edgewood and Pymatuning Valley have been invited to join the conference..

With those additions, there will be four divisions for football with Boardman, Fitch and Warren Harding in one of the tiers.

The rest of the division breakdowns are forthcoming, pending all the invited schools agree to join.

Its hopeful to begin new conference play in the spring of 2014 with full inclusion in the fall of 2015.

    LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) - Police say someone forced an Amish horse and buggy off a central Pennsylvania road to pull an armed robbery. Lancaster Newspapers reports the buggy was carrying three people early Monday morning when a white minivan pulled into its path and forced it to stop.
