WARREN, Ohio - An 11-year-old girl is being held by juvenile authorities for a probation violation.

The Nevada SW girl was placed on probation after she was arrested for domestic violence last week.

She is accused of assaulting her 6-year-old sister.

The preteen suspect was taken into custody again after violating terms of her release by leaving her home.

Warren police say it was necessary to arrest the young girl and not leave her in the house with her younger sister.

Police Lt. Jeff Cole said of the arrest that, there was enough physical violence, they felt it was necessary  to incarcerate her.
