High school principals across the state voting on another competitive balance issue

Posted: Updated:

High school principals across the state of Ohio are voting on another competitive balance issue that's a step in equaling the athletic playing field between public and parochial schools.

The ballots are due back to the Ohio High School Athletic Association by May 15th.

In the past, the ballots were cast online. This time, its being done by mail and the ballot must be signed by the principal.

The issue deals with a multiplier for sports and that number will be determined at a later date.

It's expected the results will be released on May 17th.

21 Sports Director Dana Balash has talked to several principals in the Valley and they all admit that this is an issue that is too close to call.
