Two people confess to sexually assaulting physically disabled teen

LACKAWANNOCK TWP., Pa. - Two people in Mercer County confess to sexually assaulting a teen suffering from Cerebral Palsy.

Pensylvania State Police tell 21 News they have charged 60-year-old Christopher Atkinson and 22-year-old Aaron Atkinson with aggravated and indecent sexual assault.

The two were caring for the 15-year old-victim at a home in Lackawannock Township. The crimes occured between January 2010 and November 2012.

    Police say a 2-year-old girl has been hospitalized in Ohio after a suspected opioid overdose. First responders were called to a home in Dayton around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports of an unconscious child. The child was rushed to a hospital where she is reported in serious condition. Dayton Police Lt.
