House fire in Sharon destroys home of elderly couple

SHARON, Pennsylvania- A house fire in Sharon destroyed the home of an elderly couple yesterday.

The house is located at 366 Brooklyn Street in Sharon.

Fire crews from Sharon, Farrell, and Brookfield all responded to the fire, which happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday evening.  

The home belonged to an elderly couple. They are now staying elsewhere.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.

Zachary Howell, whose body was found in burning van on Youngstown's East Side in February, recruited twenty people from the Youngstown area as part of the alleged conspiracy, according to the FBI.

    The city of Newton Falls will expand to include more than 400 acres of property within the Route 5 corridor. Trumbull County commissioners approved the annexation of the land that belonged to Braceville and Newton townships after the city met all seven state guidelines to obtain the property.
