Man caught with counterfeit goods indicted

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A New York man facing felony charges for trademark counterfeiting and criminal simulation has been indicted by a federal grand jury. 

Man Zhang, 30, was stopped on the Ohio Turnpike in March.

When stopped, police discovered that he had two felony warrants for counterfeit simulation and trademark counterfeiting. 

He was taken into custody, and an administrative inventory of the van he was driving revealed 252 counterfeit purses, 55 counterfeit pocket books, 80 pairs of counterfeit Dr. Dre Beats headphones, 204 bottles of counterfeit perfume, 292 counterfeit t-shirts and sweatshirts, 240 counterfeit hats, and 582 pairs of counterfeit sunglasses.

The items are worth a total of $327,000.
