Car crashes into Boardman car wash

Posted: Updated:

BOARDMAN, Ohio - Police are looking for a man who rammed a luxury car into a Boardman business.

The crash happened at around 1 p.m. at the Splash and Shine car wash.

Surveillance cameras caught the suspect as he reached into a woman's Jaguar and drove it into the wall of a Midlothian Boulevard car wash.

The video then shows the man running away. Police call the crash followed a domestic squabble gone bad.

"They had an argument right outside a vehicle and then the argument spilled over into inside of the vehicle. And then the vehicle itself wound up crashing through the front of the car wash," said patrolman Bill Woods.

The name of the suspect is not being released at this time but police believe they know who he is.

He will likely face charges including felonious assault.

A passenger in the vehicle was arrested for unrelated warrants at the scene.
