Suspect in beating death pleads not guilty

WARREN, Ohio - The Warren man accused of beating his exgirlfriend's father to death pleaded not guilty in court this morning.

The bond for Jarred Watson, 28, of Dickey Avenue, is set at $1 million.

George Myers, 57, also of Dickey Avenue, was found beaten to death outside of the home where he lived with Watson and Cassie Myers, the daughter of George and exgirlfriend of Watson.

Watson willingly turned himself into police Monday afternoon after he had been named a suspect in the case.
