Eastwood Field plays host to the Horizon League baseball tournament

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown State is playing host to the Horizon League baseball tournament over the next few days at Eastwood Field.

The tournament runs Wednesday thru Saturday and features five teams from the Horizon League with the winner earning a berth in the NCAA tournament.

There are eight games with the possibility of a ninth on Saturday afternoon.

Youngstown State is the fifth seed and opens the tournament on Wednesday against fourth seed Wright State.

Five Youngstown State baseball players have been named to the All Horizon League Team. Drew Dosch was a first team pick for the second year in a row. Phil Lipari and Josh White were named to the second team and Nick Dinello and Lance Horner were named to the all new comer team.
