Memorial fund in place for family that lost their son and home in a fire

MINERVA, Ohio- A memorial fund has been set up for the family that lost their son and their home in a fire last month.

Rev. David Kidd and his wife lost their son, Justin, in a house fire on April 27th.

Rev. Kidd says he is amazed at the outpouring of love and support from the community.

According to Rev. Kidd, The True North Church - Downtown Campus in Minerva, which houses the Rooted Student Ministries and outreach, was Justin's passion.

The Church recieved funds to ensure it stays open for the next year.

Also, a Memorial Fund has been set up for the Kidd family to help with building or purchasing a new home and re-building their lives.
