Suspect leads police on chase through Trumbull County

TRUMBULL COUNTY, Ohio - A routine traffic stop turned into a police chase in Trumbull County Friday night.

According to the Trumbull County Sheriff's Department, 47-year-old Jerry Houston of Vienna, was driving a black truck and failed to pull over for a speeding violation.

Houston led police on a chase through areas of Vienna Township.

Police say Houston finally pulled over at a house off route 193 and resisted arrest. His car was towed.

He is now in custody in Trumbull County Jail and was already wanted on a warrant for operating a vehicle without a valid license.

Houston is charged with fleeing police and resisting arrest.
